Welcome to the tech team at Louth Riverhead Theatre! Sound and lighting are a huge part of making a show come to life, setting the mood, highlighting the action, and making sure every word and note is heard.

You don’t need experience - just a willingness to learn! We’ll show you the basics, from operating lights and sound cues to plotting and designing a show. It’s a fun and hands-on way to be part of the magic of live theatre.

In the Main Theatre we operate an Allen & Heath SQ6 digital mixer. The video playlist below gives you an overview.
An SQ5 is featured in the videos - the difference between the SQ5 and SQ6 is just size and connectivity, with the SQ6 having 50% more faders, inputs and outputs.
